Concealed Carry & Defensive Carry
This is a 5 hour course that is scheduled for two consecutive evenings; students must attend both evenings to complete the course. The cost for this course is $100 per person.
This class will expand upon the gun safety fundamentals covered in your Massachusetts Basic Firearms Safety class. Students are trained in practical techniques for concealed carry to build the foundations for safe, lawful, responsible, and effective handgun operation in defensive situations. Students are also trained in elements of de-escalation of violence, conflict avoidance, situational awareness, and the lawful use of deadly force.
Successful completion of this class is accepted by the Springfield Police Department for residents to request a non-restricted License to Carry.
