NRA Basics of Pistol Shooting: State Application Hub
Thank you for joining us for your NRA Basic Pistol Shooting Course.
Your certification allows you to apply for a number of non-resident CCW or pistol permits. To decide which state permits are most beneficial for you to apply for, we recommend referencing the USCCA Concealed Carry Reciprocity Map. This is a fantastic free resource from the USCCA that will let you view gun laws nationwide, and determine where you should apply. Please visit the USCCA Reciprocity Map to view and interact with the reciprocity map. This is also available as a free download through your device's app store.
Most of these applications will require you to upload proof of your firearm training. This will be your NRA Basics of Pistol Shooting certificate, which you have received by email from us already.
Scroll down this page to find the various permits you can apply for, as well as directions on the application process. Eligibility, requirements, fees, and processes for each state are subject to change; please feel free to reach out to us if you have any issues with the application process.
Please note: Pioneer Valley Arms cannot fill out or submit your application on your behalf. You must submit your own applications.
Application updates will only be provided by the licensing authority directly to the applicant.
